Paediatric Appointments
Booking an appointment
- Please phone our friendly reception team to discuss booking an appointment on (07) 4151 1222. Please note that due to a high demand for paediatric occupational therapy, our caseload is often at full capacity and you may be placed on a waiting list. Children who had hand and upper limb injuries can be seen by the hand therapy team with minimal waiting times.
- Please advise if the appointment is post-injury, or is regarding toiletting or is due to developmental delay.
- Initial assessment is booked for 90 minutes and includes both a parent interview and assessment of your child. Results of this initial assessment is written up as a short report and discussed with you at their next appointment (this report can be used for school, GP or other health professionals). Follow up appointments are 60 minutes - 45 minutes face to face with 15 minutes paperwork/set up/cleanup.
