Referrals may be subsidized under the following schemes:

NDIS - National Disability Insurance Scheme

We are registered to assess and treat children under 6 years of age under  early intervention, as well as treat NDIS clients under the Capacity /building category.

Medicare Rebate/Chronic Disease Management Scheme (CDM) 

This scheme (formally called Enhanced Primary Care) is intended for those with chronic medical conditions and require a structured approach to their care.  You must receive an assessment and referral from your GP or Paediatrician in order to utilise this.

Autism and ASD Initiative

This is a Medicare initiative aimed at children diagnosed with Autism. Children must be referred by a paediatrician or psychiatrist for assessment and if eligible, families will be able to receive reimbursements for up to twenty visits.

Private Health Insurance

Many private health plans cover occupational therapy services. BOT is a provider for most major private health funds. Please contact your private health fund to find whether your plan covers occupational therapy services.


Work Cover

This Practice is a Return to Work Services Provider for Work Cover QLD. Prior approval for treatment under this scheme needs to be sought before the initial appointment. Costings are governed by Q-Comp Workers' Compensation Regulatory Authority.


Third Party Insurance Claims

We accept all third party insurance claims once we have received approval from those organizations.
